Cecilia Jung _ founder

Cecilia Jung is the founder of Cosmo Pilates Movement Lab and a Pilates instructor specializing in individualized, rehabilitation-informed movement practice. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of how people learn to move and how strength can be rebuilt through precise, attentive practice. She designs sessions that support posture, gait, and coordination while respecting each person’s unique body history and goals. She is particularly interested in helping clients restore clarity in movement after injury, manage chronic conditions, and develop sustainable strength over time.

Cecilia is a BASI (Body Arts and Science International) Comprehensive-certified Pilates instructor, trained in the block system with a strong emphasis on precision and thoughtful progression. Her teaching is deeply influenced by exceptional mentors including Sondra Karmen, Lesley Powell, Karen Clippinger, Samantha Wood, and Ashley Ritchie, whose guidance shaped her clinical reasoning, movement perspective, and deep respect for lifelong learning. She remains grateful to the many other teachers who continue to inform and inspire her work.

When she is not teaching, Cecilia is usually learning something new, experimenting in the kitchen, or being quietly amazed by nature.
